Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (www.barc.gov.in) invites applications from eligible and desirous candidates for Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment under recruitment project 2010 - 2011. Persons who are eligible and desirous for  to get Stipendiary Trainee jobs in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre advised to apply through prescribed application format, before the last date.

Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) in BARC, Mysore/Mumbai, details are as follows:

1. CATEGORY – I (Stipendiary Trainee)
   No. of Posts : 25 Posts (SC - 3, ST - 3, OBC - 7,UR - 12)
   One post (Electronics Discipline) is reserved for Candidates with Hearing impairment with loss of Sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
   1 Mech. Engg.
   2 Chemical Engg.
   3 Electrical Engg.
   4 Electronics / Instrumentation Engg.
   Qualification - Diploma/Licentiate in Mechanical / Chemical/ Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.
   5. Physics Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics /Statistics/ Electronics/Computer Science /Chemistry as subsidiary subjects).

• Age limit: 19 years Minimum and maximum 24 years as on 01.10.2010. 
• Physical Standards: Minimum Height: 160 cms. Minimum Weight: 45.5 Kgs. (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit)
• Total duration of the Training : One year.
• Stipend During Training: Rs. 9,300/-p.m. & One time book allowance of Rs.1,500/-.

1. CATEGORY – II (Stipendiary Trainee)
   No. of Posts : 51 Posts (SC - 8, ST - 5, OBC - 14,UR – 24)
   1 Chemical Plant Operator
   2 Fitter
   3 Electrical
   4 Electronics / Instrumentation
   5 Machinist
   Qualification - HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects)/SSC with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate PLUS ITI certificate in Chemical Plant Operation / Fitter / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/Machinist. The ITI/NCTVT qualification should be either of the following :-
   1. ITI/NCTVT of 2 years duration
   OR
   2. ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course. Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for the post of Chemical Plant Operator. *Candidates applying for Cat-II - Fitter may also be considered for Chemical Plant Operator.

• Age limit: 18 years Minimum and maximum 22 years as on 01.10.2010.
• Physical Standards: Minimum Height: 160 cms. Minimum Weight: 45.5 Kgs. (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit)
• Total duration of the Training : Two years.
• Stipend During Training: Rs. 6200/- p.m. for 1st year and 7200/- p.m. for 2nd year. One time book allowance of Rs.1,500/-.
