1. Name of the post: Constable General
   Total posts: 6564 (Constable Operator 49 Posts, Constable Driver 575 Posts, Constable Horse Rider 25 Posts, Constable Band 87 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

• For Constable General, Constable Driver and Constable Band in RAC/MBC battalion, qualification required is 8th pass.
• For Constable General, Constable Driver, Constable Horse Rider and Constable Band in District Police and CID (CB/IB) GRP/ACB, qualification required is 10th pass.
• For Constable Operator, qualification required is Higher Secondary with physics and Math.

Selection procedure:  Written test, physical measurement, proficient Test, physical efficiency test and Medical Test. Written test date and venue will be sent to candidates by post.

Application fee:  Rs. 200 for General and OBC candidates  (Rs. 150 for SC/ST). Fee should be submitted through IPO. Cash, Bank Draft/ DD, cheque or any other mode will not be accepted.
